Days spoilers say Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillian) will put her application in at the bakery, so Chanel will conduct an interview and get acquainted with her.

It looks like Talia and Chanel will get along well, so Chanel may be ready to hire her right away.

Unfortunately, Days spoilers tease that Chanel will suddenly land in an awkward situation when Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) delivers updates during the week of March 6-10.

There’ll be some news that catches Chanel off guard and puts her in a tight spot with Talia.

At some point during Talia and Chanel’s prior conversation, maybe Chanel will badmouth the Salem PD.

If Chanel mentions going through an unnecessary police ordeal recently or reacts to something police alert on her phone, she might rant about the lousy cops and their incompetence.

That’s the kind of thing that could bring awkwardness if Paulina’s news leads to Talia’s family connection being revealed.

There might even be some specific complaint that comes up about Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) to set up a big reveal of Talia saying that’s her sister.

Then again, perhaps the awkwardness could come into play another way.

Paulina reached out to Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) for help since Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) is moving forward with a civil suit, so she’s trying to put a positive image out there.

There might be some press-related situation where Talia is briefly mistaken for Chanel’s supportive girlfriend or something along those lines. Talia might even play along to help Chanel out of a jam.

Naturally, we have to wonder if Talia could be legitimate new girlfriend material for Chanel.

That depends on who Talia’s attracted to, but she’ll be spending a lot of time with Chanel if this bakery job sticks.

However, Days spoilers indicate that Talia also has a medical degree, so there’ll be some reason why she can’t or doesn’t want to use it at the moment.

The door will be open for Talia to get a job at the hospital down the road.
